St. Augustine Projects (part 1 of one million)

I was in St. Augustine for a few days in February and re-created my pin-cushion project in the parking lot of the former site of "Florida's Largest," an old gift shop and long-time staple of the St. Augustine tourism landscape. I remembered the parking lot being made out of sand, like the inside of the pin cushion, but when I got there I realized I had imaged that and that it was actually paved. I made this tiny installation in the only unpaved portion of the lot, right on the corner of US-1 and Dismukes Street.
